Salamander's upcoming reading features Derek JG Williams (poetry) and Peter Brown (the poetry of Emmanuel Merle in translation).

Derek JG Williams is an MFA candidate at UMass Boston, where he teaches. His poems are published or forthcoming in New Ohio ReviewPlumePrairie Schooner, and Best New Poets, among many others. His poem "Many Letters Later" appears in Salamander #39.

Peter Brown is a senior editor at Salamander. His translation of the French poet Emmanuel Merle, Elsewhere on Earth, was long-listed for the National Translation Award for Poetry (ALTA) in 2015. He also participates in a project dedicated to translating the poetry of David Ferry into French. His collection of stories, A Bright Soothing Noise, won the Katherine Ann Porter Prize in 2010.
